Jeffrey Bruss

President

Professional Experience
Jeffrey has a bachelor’s degree in English from Central Michigan University and received his law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. In addition to being an experienced estate planning attorney, Jeffrey is a licensed real estate broker and a volunteer board member and current board secretary at FreeStar Financial Credit Union.

Jeffrey Bruss is a financial advisor and partner at Legacy Wealth Advisors, a family-focused wealth management firm in Macomb County, Michigan, providing clients with potential paths to wealth accumulation, retention, and transfer of assets by creating and implementing strategies tailored to their unique goals. Jeffrey provides comprehensive wealth management services to his clients, taking time to help them understand their unique financial circumstances, work towards their financial goals, and secure their legacies by ensuring their assets are properly passed to their loved ones.

Jeffrey and his wife, Jessica, have two sons, Jack and Brody, and one daughter, Penelope. In his free time, he enjoys sports and spending time outdoors (fishing, hunting, exploring, camping). Janet Bruss

Professional Experience

Janet Bruss began working at the Law Offices of Wayne Stewart, P.C. in 2003 as a paralegal. Janet then graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2009. She was an Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of Wayne Stewart, P.C. until partnering with Wayne Stewart to form the Law Offices of Stewart and Bruss, P.C. in 2011.

About Janet

Janet’s prior work experience includes working at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, the State of Michigan, and New Horizon’s Computer Training Center. Janet stays active in the legal community by regularly attending seminars put on by the State Bar of Michigan and the Institute for Continuing Legal Education. Her background and education make her knowledgeable and capable to provide excellent client service. Janet graduated from Saint Florian High School in Hamtramck.

As she has shared with many of her clients, Janet was a client of Wayne Stewart’s when he helped administer her brother’s estate in 1995. Our clients feel that Janet is compassionate and considerate when helping them deal with complex family circumstances, and when they are grieving the loss of a loved one.

Nickolas Daniels

Of Counsel

Professional Experience

Nickolas Daniels did his legal externship with the Honorable Dennis C. Kolenda of the 17th Circuit Court in Kent County. Since that time Nickolas graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in the top twenty percent of his class, received the John D. Voelker Award for making the most significant contributions to the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review, and had his business article, “What Are The Interests of a Shareholder as a Shareholder?,” published in the Thomas M. Cooley Law Journal. Nickolas passed the February 2007 Michigan Bar Exam, and has since been practicing law throughout the state of Michigan.

About Nickolas

Nickolas was raised in Beaverton, Michigan by his parents Guy and Lori Daniels, and has one younger sister, Amber Daniels. Mr. Daniels graduated from Beaverton High School in 1998 and then attended Saginaw Valley State University. At SVSU he competed in the 800 meter run as a member of the Track Team and interned for United States Senator Carl Levin. In 2003, Nickolas graduated Cum Laude from SVSU and went on to attend Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

Anthony Misuraca

Of Counsel

Professional Experience

Anthony is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Macomb County Probate Bar Association, Macomb County Bar Association, and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in Economics and Philosophy. He then went on to attend the Michigan State University College of Law where he completed a judicial externship with the Honorable Thomas Eveland of the Eaton County Circuit Court and was involved with the school’s Rental Housing Law Clinic.

About Anthony

Anthony works closely with trustees, executors, and personal representatives when administering trusts and estates. He advises clients on their various duties, including their duty to inform and report, marshal assets of an estate, and resolve issues with financial institutions or interested parties.
